Last updated 2026. This policy explains how HR247 handles personal data.
HR247 is a workforce-management platform used by organisations ("employers") to manage their staff. Employers are the data controllers of their staff's information; HR247 acts as the data processor providing the software.
On behalf of employers, HR247 stores staff information such as name, contact details, email, date of birth, next-of-kin and emergency contacts, employment details, attendance records, salary and bank details (where payroll is used), KPIs and appraisal records.
Data is used solely to provide HR functions to the employer: attendance, payroll and payslips, performance management, salary payouts, and internal communication. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
When geofenced clock-in is enabled, the app reads a device's location at the moment of clocking in only, to confirm the staff member is within the office perimeter. Location is not tracked continuously.
Salary payouts are processed through Paystack. Bank account details are used only to verify accounts and make payments the employer authorises.
Data is stored on the employer's dedicated deployment and protected as described on our Security page. Each organisation's data is isolated from others.
Staff may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal data by contacting their employer's HR/administrator. Employers control retention and deletion of their organisation's data.
